This Cookie Policy explains how Noxus uses cookies and similar storage technologies when you visit this website. We keep it simple: we do not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. The only data we store on your device is what you actively set yourself when toggling theme or language.

1 · What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies include localStorage and sessionStorage — small key/value stores that browsers expose to web pages. This policy covers both.

Some are essential for a site to function. Others track your behaviour across sessions or across sites. We only use the first kind, and only when you set them yourself.

2 · What this site stores

Noxus stores exactly two values in your browser's localStorage, both controlled by you:

  • noxus-theme — your light/dark mode preference. Written when you click the theme toggle in the top bar. Values: "light" or "dark".
  • noxus-lang — your language preference. Written when you click EN/FR in the top bar. Values: "en" or "fr".

Both values stay on your device. They are never transmitted to a server, never linked to an identity, and never shared with a third party.

We do not set any cookies for analytics, advertising, retargeting, fingerprinting, or session tracking.

3 · Third-party services

Some pages embed or link to third-party services. When you interact with those, the third party may set its own cookies under its own privacy terms:

  • Calendly — used when you book a discovery call. May set cookies for session and CSRF protection. Calendly privacy policy ↗
  • Google Fonts — serves the typography used on this site. Google may log the request (IP, user agent) for service operation. No cookies are set by Google Fonts itself.
  • Netlify — hosts the site. May set a session cookie for form spam protection when you submit the contact form. Netlify privacy policy ↗

We have no control over cookies set by these providers. If you want to avoid them, you can decline to interact with those specific features.

4 · Your choices

Because we do not run tracking cookies, there is no consent banner to accept or refuse. You are in control by default.

You can clear the two values we store at any time:

  • In your browser — clear site data for noxusstudios.com from your browser settings. This will reset theme and language to defaults on your next visit.
  • In the DevTools console — run localStorage.clear() on this site.

You can also browse this site in private/incognito mode. Theme and language will reset every session, but nothing breaks.

5 · Changes to this policy

If we ever add analytics, advertising, or any other type of cookie to Noxus, we will update this policy and add a consent banner where required by Québec Law 25, PIPEDA, or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
